Jagannath, who was found HIV +ve in 1995, had been on ART since 2003 but gave it up in favour of Baba Ramdev's prescriptions after a trip to the yoga teacher's ashram in Haridwar from November 16 to 21. Jagannath was part of an advanced training camp for yoga teachers from Karnataka.
