A meat lover can't get a better budget meal than at Baghdadi, a modest eatery that stands in a Colaba bylane.
Contrast gets a whole new meaning here, with a whole meal available for Rs 70, while neighbour Bade Miyan charges Rs 60 for one plate of six kebabs-on-a-diet. Eating at Baghdadi is serious business; to hell with ambience (although we love the signs on the walls, telling you not to 'argue with waiters' and 'if you cause a nuisance, you'll be handed over to the police'). The dish to try here is the Chicken Fry (breast and leg options), batter-fried until golden brown with half a fried potato for company.
