Kenyan Masai is a single origin, black coffee |
The single origins are like single malts. Nilesh Singh, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager says, "Here only one type of coffee bean is used." On offer are Monsoon Malabar, Kenyan Masai and Lavazza Beans. These are strong coffees usually had without milk or sugar.
The next on the menu are coffee cocktails like Vodkatini flavoured with Kahlua. Then there are the nightcaps, like the classic Irish coffee mixed with whiskey, Jamaican coffee with rum and Russian coffee with vodka. For those who want to enjoy coffee cocktails without liquor, there is the Russet which means a tinge of brown made of caramel syrup and coffee with a dash of milk.
This being winter, Nilesh says, "is the right time to have coffee in its various forms and hence the different infusions on offer." The idea here is to let people have coffee for the entire day and not be related to only "post meal drinks or a nightcap".
People are very conscious of what they eat and drink. Unlike chocolates, where people look at the calorie content on the wrapper, coffee is something Nilesh says, "People have without bothering too much about caffeine."u00a0
