More than 70 personnel, including those from the KSRP have been keeping a close watch over the stadium for the past 10 daysIn the wake of the fourth match between India and New Zealand tomorrow, the Bangalore police is not taking any chances. The city police commissioner has ordered his officerts to keep Chinnaswamy stadium incident free.

been deployed to guard the stadium. The commissioner has deployed over 32 police personnel and two Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) vans to guard the stadium. They will be guarding the stadium in two shifts, which takes the tally to 70 policemen.
These policemen have been on guard since November 28. The KSRP personnel have been keeping a close watch over the stadium, whereas officers from nearby stations do their rounds twice a day.
The stadium will be watched two days prior to and after the match. More than thousand personnel will be present on the day of the match, including senior officials.
According to an official from the Karnataka State Cricket Association tomorrow's match will attract lots of crowds.
Assistant Sub Inspector J Basavaraj, who is on night shift said, "We had been ordered to keep a close watch on the stadium since the last 10 days. We have over 32 people guarding the stadium in one shift."
The incident
On 2010 April 17th twin blasts had created panic at the stadium. Four police personnel and two civilians were injured. Because of the blast, the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians was delayed. The next day, the police found two live bombs near Gate No 4 and the Mahatma Gandhi bus stand.
