Seemingly, Bangaloreans don't mind paying a bomb to watch superstar Rajnikanth at his best in the latest Tamil movie

Whether on multiplex or single screens, city theatres showing Rajnikanth's latest Tamil movie Endhiran are running houseful with ticket prices ranging from Rs 60 to Rs 1500.

Playing in around five multiplexes and 15 single screens across the city, Shankar's directorial venture Endhiran (Robot in Hindi), starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Bangaloreans and people thronging to various theatres to get a glimpse of Rajnikanth.

PVR and other multiplexes are selling it on an overage of Rs 400 on the weekdays and Rs 500 on weekends.
The ticket prices of Endhiran in single theatres range from Rs 60 to Rs 300.

"We have tickets booked for the next week also. We are running houseful everyday," said Ganesh from Pallavi theatre.

However, Bangaloreans don't seem to mind shelling out when it comes to comfortably watching their favourite star on the big screen.

Explaining that the gold class has only 32 seats, an official from the PVR cinemas said, "Normally gold class tickets are priced at Rs 1,000. But for this movie, the tickets are sold at Rs 1,500 since it is a high budget movie."
