Come Saturday and ISB&M School of Communication is set to host its media festival - Media Pulse. The annual communication festival organised for and by aspiring media professionals is titled 'Communication Beyond 2010'.
The six-day festival aims to bring together media stalwarts which includes CEO's, vice-presidents, managing editors from well-known production houses, advertising and creative agencies, television channels, radio stations, public relations agencies and corporate communication departments on one mega knowledge platform.
About 30 media professionals have agreed to be part of the event. The festival would have cultural events during the nights and discussions, seminars and workshops during the day.
Besides competitions like writing print ads, photography exhibitions, short-film making and screening of award-winning student films, the festival is expected to have entertainment programmes like fashion shows, dance competitions, solo singing competitions and media quiz competitions. Besides cash and gift vouchers and exciting prizes like spa-packages, the winners will get a vacation trip to Goa.
Ujjwal K Chowdhury, executive director of ISB&M School of Communication said, "Media Pulse involves the contemporary and future media stalwarts preparing the platform available for 'clutter breaking changes' in the industry. All media industry professionals would be under one roof interacting with media trainee's day in and day out regarding all media vehicles and upcoming issues."
