Venkatesh, and Sunita were co-workers in Surya Bakery in Sampangiram Nagar. Sunita was unmarried and was the cashier.
Venkatesh, who is married and has four children, started to like her and would often take her to restaurants and parks. While Sunita liked him as a colleague, Venkatesh believed that she was in love with him. So, he offered her come live in a separate house.
After a few days, he started making sexual advances toward her, but she always refused him. Later, when Venkatesh found out that she had frequent visitors to the house, he got angry, and warned her against receiving anyone.
