Little Singh's big crime has landed him in great trouble.
The 22-year-old is accused number six in the sensational gang rape of a 24-year-old MBA student on Tuesday.

Five others were arrested in this connection on Tuesday itself. According to the report lodged by the parents of the girl, there were ten youth who picked her up from outside the Great India Place mall and took her to Sector 71 where they took turns to rape her.
Little, a resident of Gali Chowkhandi village, was arrested from Morna bus stand in Noida, Sector 35.u00a0
"Such people are a threat to the security of the society. The crime they have committed is barbaric. Therefore, I have asked that these should be booked under the National Security Act and Gangsters Act," Inspector General of Police (Meerut Range) Gurdarshan Singh told MiD DAY.

A Noida lower court remanded the five accused in 14-day judicial custody. The police have asked the court to allow fingerprinting of the accused as a local-made gun was also recovered from them and it is suspected that they might have raped the girl at gun-point.
Jumping into action, members of the National Commission for Women reached the Sector 39 police station, where the case was registered and also met the victim.
The women's panel is conducting its own investigations into the case and the members took stock of the police probe and collected details about the incident.
The case reverberated in the political space too with the Minister for Women and Child Development,u00a0 Renuka Chowdhury, taking the opportunity to target Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.
"How did they think that they can do such a thing and get away? And when that question arises you start questioning the government. You have Nithari and Arushi cases, you have Noida rapes. It is sad if you can't solve the problem," she said. "None of them should get bail in this case. What kind of people we are that we cannot protect our daughters?" she asked.

A 27-year-old man allegedly tried to molest a 14-year-old girl at her house in the Chhajarsi village in Noida on Wednesday.
The girl's family has alleged that she was alone at her house in the morning when the accused, Rajan Kumar, tried to molest her. Rajan is said to be the nephew of the owner of the house where the victim's family was staying.
The girl's mother, Phool Devi, has alleged in her complaint that the girl's brother Suraj arrived on the scene when she raised an alarm. |
