India's biggest music quiz on Radio has begun. Take home up to Rs 200000. Mega finals are likely to be held in Mumbai. Day 2 of the Chocoliebe music ka Shahensha (yesterday) saw some interesting twists and turns.

Here is how the music ka shahensha works: I open the contest by asking an interesting question to an aspiring and cash-hungry participant. I pick three lucky participants every day and generously throw in cash if they are worthy of it because music ka Shahensha is only for the knowledgeable.

Rs 1,000 per right answer, I shall not ask more than five questions. I do offer a help line called 'Bargaining Fataafat' for those, who wish to extricate themselves in the course of the music quiz, where a lucky listener gets a chance to bargain with the participant for some money (basically it's the case of 'they all lived happily ever after').

My first lucky participant was Kamini, who got stuck in the fifth question for Rs 5,000. A smart listener, who knew the answer managed to strike a neat deal. Kamini landed up taking home only 50 per cent eventually.

My second lucky (actually unlucky... read on...) participant was Amit the great! Who was stuck in the very first question- ''In which movie do you find the song Tandoori Nights?'' He did opt for the help line, moved on to go all the way to the last question (fifth) for Rs 5000. Unfortunately, Amit lost all his cash as he failed to answer the final question. (Tough luck!u00a0 Tough rules!)

My third and the final participant was the very excited Nandini. She started pretty well, got stuck in question number 3 for Rs 3000. Indeed got some help from a tough negotiator and finally had to settle for just Rs 1,500, in spite of earning Rs 3,000.

The highest earner everyday gets to move to the semi-finals where you are entitled for bigger cash. Upto Rs 2,00,000 is what you can take home maamu bole tho fataafat cash!

So where does my producer Rakesh feature here? I don't know and I couldn't care less! Because I've a new producer, she is pretty and fun to be with-Veda.
