My NEWS readers criticise Shiv Sena's protests against lawyer Anjali Waghmare, who has agreed to defend Qasab
This is with reference to Anjali Waghmare's decision to defend Mohammad Ajmal Qasab. I request the public to respect this decision and take it in their stride. They should not obstruct the legal proceedings. Let the law take its course and justice will be done. Hang Qasab as soon

There should be no delay in Qasab's trial and he should be punished soon. Anjali Waghmare has taken the right decision by agreeing to defend the 26/11 terrorist. This will speed up the legal proceedings.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
Anjali Waghmare is a true patriot. Kudos to this brave lawyer for taking up Qasab's case despite protests from the Shiv Sena. Why is the Sena making such a big deal about the trial? Where were the Sainiks when terror struck Mumbai on the night of November 26? They are the real troublemakers and should stay out of such matters. Good work, Anjali. You have taken the right decision in the interest of our nation.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
Every Indian was outraged after terrorists wreaked havoc in Mumbai on November 26. But one must remember that if the 26/11 trial does not start soon, Qasab may go scot-free. The trial should not be delayed any further. The public should protest if the trial is prolonged unreasonably. Protesting against Waghmare will not serve the ends of justice.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
Qasab needs to be represented by a lawyer in the court. There is no way he can escape the gallows. There is enough evidence against him in the form of CCTV footage and photographs.
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena should stop unnecessary protests. The party is filled with goons. I have no respect for the Shiv Sainiks.u00a0u00a0
Why are people making such a hue and cry over Anjali Waghmare representing Qasab? For a fair trial to
take place, Qasab needs a defence lawyer. There is enough evidence against him. We need to trust our judicial system and not hamper the legal proceedings in any way. Truth will prevail.u00a0
