A small plane crashed in the US state of New Jersey, killing all five people onboard, officials said.
The plane crashed at the Monmouth Executive Airport, about eight kilometres west of the central business district of Belmar in New Jersey.
A spokeswoman for the US Federal Aviation Administration in Washington told Xinhua on Monday night that all five people onboard the small aircraft were killed.
TV footage showed the plane was completely destroyed.
Officials meanwhile launched a probe into the accident.
