They are twice as likely to pocket a salary of 30,000 pounds or more.

On average, they take home 5,000 pounds a year more than their colleagues under the benchmark 5ft 8in height.u00a0

For those over 6ft tall, the chances of being in a managerial role increase by 80 per cent, and women over 5ft 8in earn an average of 530 pounds extra per inch, per year.u00a0

The study found that 20 per cent of tall women credit their stature as giving them empowerment and authority.
