Former India skipper Bishan Singh Bedi blasted the Nagpur pitch, calling it disgraceful

The legendary left-arm spinner used micro-blogging site Twitter to criticise the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium strip that saw England crawl to 199 for five after 97 overs. "Another disgraceful pitch in Nagpur," he tweeted yesterday.u00a0

Bedi also called the Indian team's strategy to opt for four spinners and one seamer as "myopic". "Indians may have to pay for myopic strategy," Bedi wrote.

The veteran cricketer feels that it is fine that the skipper MS Dhoni has decided to "dig (his) own grave" but he shouldn't take "Indian cricket along" while the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) remains "silent". del
