After a massive finish by the Indian cricket team against Bangladesh, the ICC World Cup 2023 now heads towards its next match. The next match will be played between Australia and Pakistan.
Pakistan is all set to face Australia after facing the defeat against India whereas Australia is boosted up after their win against Sri Lanka.
Pakistan Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan.

Pakistan faced a huge defeat against their arch-rivals India. Team India displayed a team effort and won the match by 7 wickets. Pakistan will now look to fill the voids they left in their last match. Pakistan played three matches in the ICC World Cup 2023 and has won two out of them and lost one. They are in the fourth rank in the team rankings.
Australia, -the five-time World champions, didn't get much good start in the tournament. Even they have played three matches and won only one out of them. They will desperately look to win against Pakistan today to help them stay alive in the tournament.

A clash between India and Bangladesh took place in Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Indian bowlers ended their inning for 256 runs.
India's captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill opened the inning and made 88 runs stand. Rohit Sharma missed his well-deserved fifty just by two runs whereas Shubman Gill played a knock of 53 runs. India's 'chase-master' Virat Kohli ended the match by smashing an unbeaten 103 runs. Kohli completed his century and finished the game for India by hitting a six at the end.
After today's match, there will be two games played on October 21. The first match will be played between the Netherlands and Sri Lanka and in the another match England will clash South Africa.
