After India's one-sided triumph over Bangladesh and their fourth successive victory in World Cup 2023 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje, people will talk about Virat Kohli's hundred, skipper Rohit Sharma's strokeful 48 and Shubman Gill's first World Cup half-century.
But two players - wicketkeeper KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja - should be remembered as well, for their stunning catches which helped Team India restrict the visitors to 256-8.

Rahul showed how good he is with the big gloves too when he held on to one on the leg-side to send back Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3) off Mohammed Siraj.

Jadeja, who returned figures of 10-0-38-2, showcased yet again what a spectacular catcher he is when he took a difficult one at backward point to dismiss Mushfiqur Rahim off Jasprit Bumrah. This was an unbelievable effort and only underlines why Jadeja is considered the best fielder in his team.
Team India's fielding coach T Dilip has started appreciating the efforts of fielders by honouring them with a medal. And in that context, after taking a sensational catch, Jadeja immediately turned towards Dilip, who was standing near the boundary ropes and indicated him to give him the best fielder medal.
However, for Dilip, it will be a really tough task to choose between Rahul and Jadeja. Both catches will definitely inspire several budding cricketers.
