Born on November 14, 1985, Manoj Tiwary is an Indian cricketer who is a right-handed middle-order batsman and is a part-time leg spinner.

Manoj Tiwary represents Bengal in domestic cricket and Kings XI Punjab in the IPL. He has played for the Indian national cricket team in 12 One Day Internationals and 3 T20 Internationals.

Manoj Tiwary was signed by the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) for a sum of USD 675,000 in the inaugural seasons of the Indian Premier League in 2008.

Manoj Tiwary was traded to the Kolkata Knight Riders in exchange for Moises Henriques before the 2010 IPL season.

In the auction for 4th edition of the Indian Premier League 2011, Manoj Tiwary was retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders for a sum of USD 475,000.

In February 2017, Manoj Tiwary was bought by the Rising Pune Supergiant team for the 2017 Indian Premier League for Rs. 50 lakh. Later in January 2018, he moved to Kings XI Punjab during the 2018 IPL edition.

Manoj Tiwary has played 12 ODIs and has scored 287 runs. His highest score is an unbeaten 104. His batting average is 26.09.

Manoj Tiwary has also played 119 first-class matches scoring 8,752 runs at a stunning average of 51.78.

Manoj Tiwary has 27 centuries and 37 fifties in first-class cricket. His highest score is an unbeaten 303.

Manoj Tiwary has played three T20I matches for India so far and scored 15 runs.

Earlier this year, KXIP cricketer Manoj Tiwary, who was once part of KKR's IPL title-winning squad in 2012, made headlines after he expressed his disappointment after KKR reportedly did not mention him in their tweet regarding the 2012 triumph. The topic went viral online but since then KKR cleared the air with Tiwary saying that they did actually mention him in the post. Tiwary meanwhile, shared this photo and captioned it, "This day that year. Happy memories"
