Ecstatica for PRA Independence Trophy

The PRA Independence Trophy is the feature event of an eight-race card slated for the Independence day races at the Pune racetrack.

A crowded field of 17 runners from class IV will face the starter for the 2,000-meter trip.

The race for horses that are four years or older appears to be extremely competitive, however, most probably the winner will emerge from the quintet of Ecstatica, Alexus, Western Challenge, Barbara and Thanda. The first-named gets my vote.

First race at 2 pm.
