Why should Christmas in India just be about pot roast? After all, when cultures marry, food is the child that receives the best benefits. And, Bandra's ingredient forward, gas-free kitchen restaurant Arth is celebrating just that with an Indian Thaal meal that will showcase rustic Indian flavours in a Christmas attire.Binge on smoked lamb chops, bharwan tangri, Anglo Indian duck Moilee, lamb and ale pie, truffle chokha, turkey biryani and more. Vegetarians? There's smoked beetroot chop, gucchi pie and cranberry kabuli pulao along with breads and rice cakes.

One of the most luxurious hotels in the city is all set to ring in the Christmas festivities. Seven Kitchens at St Regis will host a brunch that will not just offer a scrumptious spread but also create a celebratory mood with carol singers and Santa Claus, who will gift you for your good deeds. Dive into a menu that comprises roasted turkey, leg of lamb, Chilean sea bass, scallops, ravioli, charcuterie, pork belly and plum cake.

The susegad lunch
Can't hop over to Goa? O Pedro will bring the sunny state here for you. Their special menu will offer dishes that Goans make during the 12 days of Christmas. To celebrate the festive season, Toast & Tonic is introducing five cocktails, one for every palate. These will be made using their home-made shrubs, syrups and infusions. Gin lovers should opt for It's apple thyme made from Scottish caorunn gin, frosty negroni and cranberry ginger fizz.

You can pick from a Spiced Latte with gingerbread or hot caramel with butter toffee. Something more decedent? Go for the nutella brownie crumble and oreo brownie crumble.
