Kisan Konnect mangoes
The Indian summer can be unforgiving but if there's one thing that can make it all worthwhile, it's got to be mangoes. A number of small businesses have sprung up in the last year that are collaborating with farmers to offer fresh varieties. So, if you are planning to stuff your face with beta carotene goodness, do it the ethical way.
KisanKonnect
KisanKonnect is a farmer-producer company, which brings the goodness of fresh, hygienic fruits and vegetables, sourced locally from over 500 farms. They are offering the Devgad alphonso for R1,099 for a dozen, Lalbagh mangoes for Rs 175 per kg and Totapuri for Rs 149 per kg.
