After a long hiatus, actor Lisa Ray on Sunday returned to the ramp, and that too with ace designer Rahul Mishra`s show at India Couture Week 2024. She looked stunning in a saree gown that featured a captivating peacock-themed train. 

Lisa`s walk set off a wave of nostalgia among the audience as she strutted down the runway, swaying to her iconic `Afreen Afreen` song being sung by the musicians live.

Rahul Mishra presented his `Nargis` collection which highlights the designer`s intimate bond with nature and its various experiences. 

The embroidery artworks include pride of peacocks frolicking in a Mughal Garden, fiery red pomegranate flowers turning to ripe fruit, a bouquet of peonies, and a busy fish pond full of lilies in the golden sun. 

Rahul did his best to showcase his love for flora and fauna via his ensembles. From sarees to lehengas to pantsuits, Rahul managed to weave the magic of nature through his craftsmanship.

Amit Aggarwal presented his collection ‘Time’ at the India Couture Week 2024, held at The Taj Palace, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. 

The designer stated, “Time, endless and boundless, shapes our journey, linking every thread and soul in the cosmic dance.”

“Within its embrace, everything finds its place and purpose, united in the eternal rhythm of the universe,” he added.

The collection ANTEVORTA (used in Greek philosophy to personify the Goddess of Future) delves into the profound connection between time and the universe, highlighting that nothing exists outside its influence.

India Couture Week, which kick-started on July 24, will take place till July 31.
