Rubina Dilaik, an actress who welcomed twin daughters with husband Abhinav Shukla in November 2023, revealed that people around her frequently compare her baby girls` skin complexions. Rubina stated that she considers both of her girls "beautiful" regardless of their skin tone.

Rubina discussed beauty standards in her most recent vlog, saying, "My one baby is a little dark, the other is light... and people come and compare, which is very horrible. But I always tell them that my daughter is beautiful, regardless of whether she is fair or dusky. And I tell them, "Never bring this comparison into my home."

She also revealed that she ignores the advice and home treatments offered by her family. "Sometimes, even our family members and relatives suggest that we use dal paste or besan to lighten her complexion, but I tell them not to think about it. My daughters are stunningly beautiful."
