Amid the ongoing debates around the casting of Ramayana, Sadhguru, in his recent podcast with producer Namit Malhotra, shared his views about the casting of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash in the mythological characters

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash
Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, is undoubtedly one of the most awaited projects. Just like the buzz around the film, there has also been some debate around the film, especially regarding the casting. Amid the discussions, the producer, Namit Malhotra, interacted with the spiritual leader Sadhguru and discussed with him about the audience's expectations from the actors who are playing the Ramayana characters in the film.
Namit asked Sadhguru how one can ensure that actors are seen as actors and not mistaken for Maryada Purushottam (Lord Ram). Sadguru replied, "If they have sense, they should become (Maryada Purushottam). It is an opportunity that you get to play the role of Ram; you'd better transform yourself. If you don't do that, when will you do it in your life? At the same time, there will be certain unrealistic expectations."
