10 ka dum! Bachchan Pandey - Akshay Kumar's 10th film with producer Sajid Nadiadwala

Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar's films include Waqt Hamara Hain (1993), Heyy Babyy (2007) and Kambakkht Ishq (2009).

A day after beginning the shoot of Bachchan Pandey, Akshay Kumar provided a glimpse of his character - a gangster who wants to be an actor. “New year, old associations... Bachchan Pandey is my 10th film with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, and hopefully many more," posted the Khiladi. Nadiadwala and Kumar's films include Waqt Hamara Hain (1993), Heyy Babyy (2007) and Kambakkht Ishq (2009).

Farhad Samji's directorial venture, co-starring Kriti Sanon and Arshad Warsi is being shot in Jaisalmer. Bachchan Pandey also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Prateik Babbar. The film will see Kumar playing a gangster, who aspires to be an actor; Sanon as a journalist, who wishes to be a director and Warsi as a struggling actor. The makers are yet to reveal character details of other cast members.

Akshay along with actresses Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez started shooting for the film in Jaisalmer on Wednesday. Shoot will continue till March. The team is expected to shoot at places like the Gadisar Lake and Jaisalkot.
