Belonging to a sports family, she ventured into modelling before exploring the world of cinema. The Bengaluru-based statuesque Deepika made her debut with Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kirron Kher and Shreyas Talpade.
