Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi are set to reunite after 15 years as Rajkumar Hirani has reportedly locked the script for 3 Idiots 2. The film will pick up from where it left off and is expected to go on the floors in 2026

According to a Pinkvilla report, a source close to the development told them that the sequel will go on floors in the second half of 2026. The source revealed, “The script has been locked, and the team is extremely excited for it. They feel the magic of the first film has returned, and is as funny, as emotional, and as meaningful as the first part."
