Aamir Khan jokes about language row at polling booth: ‘Yeh Maharashtra hai’

Aamir Khan stepped out to cast vote and posed for the paps polling booth. As he interacted with paps, he subtly reacted to the language row when asked to speak in Hindi. He even urged citizens to exercise their duty

Superstar Aamir Khan reached a polling booth on Thursday to cast his vote during the ongoing Maharashtra civic elections. The actor was seen arriving at the polling station and later stepped out to speak to the media. After casting his vote, Khan spoke about the importance of voting and praised the arrangements at the polling booth. However, he also indirectly addressed the language row in Maharashtra.

Speaking to the media after casting his vote, Khan appealed to Mumbaikars to come out and vote in the civic elections and praised the polling arrangements. As he spoke in Marathi, some media persons asked him to repeat the message in Hindi.
