Aamir Khan delivered a heartwarming family entertainer filled with love, laughter, and happiness with Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to the 2007 superhit Taare Zameen Par. The film touched the hearts of the audience and garnered tremendous love from all across the country. Now, the superstar has taken the film to the village where one of his blockbusters and Oscar nominated film, Lagaan, was shot, Bhuj, for a special screening.
After 25 years, Aamir Khan returned to the village where Lagaan was filmed. A special screening of the film was held for the villagers. As Aamir visited the place after a long time, it was indeed a nostalgic trip down memory lane for him. He met the people of Kotey, who had helped build the village during the shoot. He was seen warmly hugging an old friend from Kotey village, Dana Bhai.
While addressing about the same, Aamir Khan said, "I am very happy that I have come to Kutch. 25 years ago, we made Lagaan. I have a lot of old memories. I have come to Kotaya village, Danabhai's village. All the actors in Lagaan were from Dhanabai's village. They were also from Bhuj.
