Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Bob Biswas, which is backed by Shah Rukh Khan, has got a release date. The film will premiere on Zee5 on December 3. Directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, it has been produced by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma. The makers will release the trailer today. 

The film is the spin-off of the iconic character of the same name, from Sujoy Ghosh’s 2012 thriller, Kahaani. The crime-drama is set against the backdrop of a love story, and showcases the dual life led by a contract killer. It was shot in Kolkata, and also stars Chitrangda Singh in the lead role.
