Mumbai Police have solved the burglary at actor Abhimanyu Singh’s residence in Andheri West, arresting a habitual offender and recovering valuables worth more than Rs 1.26 crore. The actor, known for his performances in films like Gulaal and several South Indian movies, was left shaken after his Mumbai home was targeted in a carefully planned theft late last year.

What happened at Abhimanyu Singh`s residence?

The burglary took place during the night of December 29 and 30, 2025, when the accused allegedly entered Singh’s bungalow while the family was asleep. According to police officials, the thief gained access to the house through a bathroom window, avoiding detection and heading straight for the valuables. The accused managed to steal a household safe containing gold, diamond and silver jewellery along with cash. The total value of the stolen items was estimated to be around Rs 1.37 crore.
