After Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’s success, Adarsh lends his voice to single Kho gaye that is inspired by the friendship drama

Losing oneself in the land of music

Adarsh Gourav has collaborated with Ruuh and Joh for the track

Even before he harboured acting dreams, Adarsh Gourav was bitten by the music bug, training in Hindustani classical music during his growing-up years. Now, weeks after he impressed the audience with his performance in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023), the actor has given a glimpse of his musical side with his new single, Kho gaye. As the title suggests, the song, which sees him teaming up with composers Ruuh and Joh, is inspired by Arjun Varain Singh’s directorial venture that focuses on how three friends’ lives are influenced by social media.

After the song was released earlier this week, Gourav’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi praised it online, saying, “Sir, what is the procedure to put it in the album? So good.” For Gourav, the number is a means to express the joy as well as the vulnerability that the young adult drama stirred in him. He shares, “Creating Kho gaye has been rewarding for me as an artiste. The song is close to my heart, inspired by the emotions of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. It’s a seamless blend of storytelling through both acting and music. Collaborating with RUUH, JOH, and Smriti Bhoker [lyricist] has made this a magical
experience.”
