Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has reportedly issued a legal notice to writer Santosh Kumar RS after the latter accused the makers of Dhurandhar 2 of copying his script. The controversy has sparked a fresh debate around originality and intellectual property in the film industry.

Aditya Dhar to go the legal route

According to reports, Santosh Kumar RS had earlier alleged that the storyline of Dhurandhar 2 was lifted from a script he had written in 2023. He claimed that he had registered the script with the Screenwriters Association and had also pitched it to several production houses while trying to develop the project.
