Even as Love & War’s shoot is keeping her busy, Alia Bhatt is developing a new chapter for her banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. mid-day has learnt that the actor and producer is joining hands with Shujaat Saudagar for a line-up of projects that will be rolled out over the next few years. Their first offering is said to be a young adult campus story. 

From her maiden production Darlings (2022), Bhatt has made it clear that she wants to back fresh stories. A source says that Rock On 2 (2016) and Bambai Meri Jaan (2023) director Saudagar, with his mix of scale and grit, fit the kind of collaborators she was looking for. The source adds, “They’re aiming for big-screen spectacles and OTT stories. Shujaat’s company will be involved in production while Alia’s stable will work on the creative aspect. The YA story will go on floors soon.”
