The actress recalls how she received proposals and blood-written love letters after the film. She even recalled golden advice from Shah Rukh Khan, which she received during the Main Hoon Na shoot, and which impacted her career decisions.

Amrita Rao recently had a candid conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast, where she opened up about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan. The Main Hoon Na actress said, “He said something very nice: ‘200 filmein aayengi, par humein sirf do karni hai. Aur fir usmein se woh ek film hai that people are waiting for.’ (He told me I will be offered 200 films, but I must sign only two in the hope that one of them is the one people are waiting for.) That has been my criteria while signing films, and that’s why I have been so selective in this journey.”
