After a historic global festival run, the glorious `Songs of Forgotten Trees` is coming home. Debutant filmmaker Anuparna Roy’s acclaimed drama—presented by Anurag Kashyap—is gearing up for its grand premiere in India at the upcoming Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF).

Songs of Forgotten Trees to close DIFF 2025

With the movie, Roy had scripted history in September by winning the Orizzonti Award for Best Director at the prestigious 82nd Venice Film Festival, where `Songs of Forgotten Trees` was the only Indian film that got selected in the esteemed Orizzonti section.
