‘Nobody wants a war’

Ajay Devgn has become the first Bollywood celebrity to react to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan following Operation Sindoor, a retaliation attack launched by the Indian armed forces. At the trailer launch of Karate Kid: Legends, Ajay said, “Nobody wants war, but when there’s no choice left, then...there’s no choice left. I salute the armed forces, the PM [Narendra Modi], and [the] government. They had to do what they did, and they did great. Thank you.” The actor concluded with a resounding “Jai Hind,” receiving a thunderous response from the audience. Ajay’s son Yug was also present at the event as he is also a part of the Hollywood project, marking their first ever collaboration.
