Bhool Chuk Maaf is set in Benaras, where lovebirds Ranjan Tiwari (Rajkummar Rao) and Titli Mishra (Wamiqa Gabbi) wish to marry and live happily ever after. However, Ranjan is a jobless raja beta who has to secure a sarkari naukri (government job) to tie the knot. He somehow manages to bag one with the help of Bhagwan Das (Sanjay Mishra), and the couple proceeds with their pre-wedding festivities, only for Ranjan to wake up on his haldi ceremony every day, thus stuck in a time loop.
