Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s recent comments about Brahmins amid the ongoing Phule film controversy have sparked outrage and led to an FIR being filed against him. Now, a Brahmin leader has offered a Rs 1 lakh reward to anyone who blackens the `Gangs of Wasseypur` director’s face.
Following Kashyap`s remarks, Suresh Mishra of the Chanakya Sena and Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Mahasabha announced the reward of Rs 1 lakh, condemning Kashyap for his "anti-Brahmin" comments.
