Following a triumphant global festival run, the official first glimpse of the highly anticipated drama, Mercy, will be released on 27th March in the theatres exclusively with the film Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Navigating the sensitive subject of passive euthanasia, the film offers a deeply moving exploration of compassion, duty, and the blurred lines of legal morality, standing out as a heartfelt drama centred on the emotional limits of a family facing life’s final chapters.

The narrative arrives at a time when the national conversation around end-of-life dignity has been reignited, following the recent case of Harish Rana, who had been in a vegetative state for over 13 years and became the first individual permitted passive euthanasia by the Supreme Court of India, mirroring the film’s exploration of deeply complex moral and legal realities. Mercy is set to release in theatres on 24th April.
