Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi tied the knot earlier in February this year and the actress has now announced her pregnancy on her Instagram account with a deep and poetic post. With a stunning backdrop of sunset and sea, she shared a breathtaking picture of herself as she looked at the skies to welcome a new life.

This is what she wrote to announce the news- “Blessed to be...
One with Mother Earth...
One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything...
Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs.
Of new saplings.
And the blossoming of hope.
Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb." [SIC]

The announcement was instantly showered with loads of congratulatory messages and wishes from friends, colleagues and fans. Sources say, Dia and Vaibhav are truly happy to have found wedded bliss and along with their daughter Samaira, are looking forward to expanding their family.
Jacqueline Fernandez wrote- “so happy for you,” followed by three red hearts. Malaika Arora commented- “Congratulations my dear.” Shaheen Bhatt also congratulated the actress with multiple yellow hearts. Sophie Choudry wrote- “Bestest news. So happy for you guys.” Riddhima Kapoor Sahi also congratulated Mirza with a red heart.
Mirza is in the Maldives with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi, on their first vacation post-wedding in February. She has posted a string of images on Instagram from the trip. One picture, where Dia poses with her stepdaughter, has particularly captured social media fancy.

In the images, Dia is in the perfect holiday mood, dressed in light summer-wear, big rounded shades and a hat, as she poses against the backdrop of the sea, the beach, blue sky and island flora. The photographs have been clicked by Vaibhav.
Dia got married to Vaibhav last month. The actress had then shared that the wedding was completely biodegradable. The high point of the wedding was a Vedic ceremony conducted by a woman priest.
