Ayushmann Khurrana is back as Pooja in Dream Girl's sequel. The trailer of Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, released yesterday at an event in Mumbai. Ananya Panday joined Ayushmann as the film's lead. The plot of the comedy-drama revolves around their relationship. For the unversed, Ayushmann plays Karam/Pooja whereas Ananya's character is named Pari. 

During the trailer launch of Dream Girl 2, Ananya was asked about romancing Ayushmann in the film despite a 14-year age gap. The actress said differences in age shouldn't create an obstacle while viewing a film and this has been prevalent in the cinema industry for the longest time.
