Durga Puja 2023: Navratri, meaning 'nine nights', is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. The festival is celebrated with fervour and festivity to mark the victory of Goddess Durga, who fought against the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura.

On the morning of Saptami, Kajol was spotted visiting their family's Durga puja pandal in Juhu. For the auspicious day, Kajol opted for a rani pink saree. She also adorned her hair with pink flowers. The actress tied her hair in a bun while she chose intricate jewellery to elevate her traditional look. She was accompanied by her son Yug for the morning pooja. Yug opted for a white kurta pajama for the occasion.
Apart from Kajol, her cousin and actress Rani Mukerji was also seen at the pandal for Saptami morning puja. Vatsal Sheth and wife Ishita Dutta were also at the pandal twinning in green traditional wear. Sumona Chakravarti also attended the puja.
Rani Mukerji arrived for the Puja in a golden saree. She looked mesmerising and seemed to be in a joyful mood. In a viral video, the actress is seen reaching out to a young fan at the pandal and giving her a warm hug.

In another video from the pandal visit, Kajol and her son Yug can be seen greeting an elderly man they met at the entrance of the pandal. Yug also touched the man's feet for blessings. This cultural gesture by the young boy left netizens impressed.

Hema Malini and Esha Deol also graced the pandal. The mother-daughter duo looked stunning in sarees. Veteran actress Hema wore a stunning purple saree, while Esha aced her traditional look in a shiny cream saree. The video from the pandal that is stealing our hearts is Hema and Rani's reunion. The two shared a warm hug as they stopped and posed for the paparazzi.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Kajol will be seen sharing screen space with Kriti Sanon in 'Do Patti.' Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, 'Do Patti' is produced by Kathha Pictures and co-produced by Kriti Sanon. Kanika Dhillon is also the writer and the film will stream exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix.
The film is set to take viewers on a thrilling, suspense-filled ride like never before and transport audiences to the mesmerizing hills of North India, which serve as a backdrop for the mystery and intrigue to unfold. Filmmakers began the production of the film in Mumbai on August 18.
