After the massive success of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, Emraan Hashmi has proved his stardom is unmatched. The actor is all set to essay the role of a customs officer in the new series Taskaree. To promote the series, the actor, along with the crew, was travelling to Ahmedabad. However, he faced a hiccup during his journey. Due to a landing issue, his flight failed to halt at Ahmedabad and was diverted to Jaipur, where all the passengers were safe.
Emraan Hashmi was aboard an Akasa Air flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad on January 13, 2026, while promoting his upcoming series Taskaree: The Smuggler`s Web. Flight QP 1781, a Boeing 737 MAX 8, took off from Mumbai at 8:40 a.m. and attempted to land in Ahmedabad around 10:00 a.m. However, the pilots had to abort twice due to landing challenges before diverting safely to Jaipur. Hashmi and the Taskaree crew were on board, causing brief concern among passengers over limited fuel, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
