Sudhanshu Pandey, who is kicked about his role in the Salman Khan-starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, tells us how he bagged the role, what makes the film an exception, and what he expects from the movie.

Sudhanshu Pandey is currently riding high on success. Why? The actor, who has been in the industry for more than two decades, won the Best Actor award at the Indian Television Awards ceremony 2021. Sudhanshu plays the popular character Vanraj in one of the most-watched shows, Anupamaa, also starring Rupali Ganguly. All elated to receive the love for his grey character in the show, Sudhanshu is all set to grab the attention of the audience with a different avatar - as an antagonist - in the upcoming Salman Khan-starrer Radhe.

In an interview with mid-day.com, Sudhanshu Pandey revealed what made his experience shooting with Salman Khan and Prabhudeva worth it. "My working experience was very good shooting with Salman Khan and Prabhudeva as a director."
The actor's journey as Prabhudeva's co-star goes way back to when the duo shared screen space in a regional film. "I had done a Tamil film with Prabhu where he plays the hero and me, the villain, and that's how I got to know Prabhu a little better," said Sudhanshu Pandey.
The actor-director duo knows each other for quite some time now and their connection is more than just professional. "Although we have been neighbours in Mumbai for a while, I got to know him much better while working with him. And yes, I guess that's why he called me specifically for Radhe because he had a special appearance for his film, which has a negative shade. But it's also in the fun zone, so. I think, he thought that I would fit the bill."
When quizzed about his character in the movie, Sudhanshu mentioned, "I couldn't say no. Although I am not up for special appearances and don't do them anymore, I did it out of pure goodwill and respect for Prabhudeva... And here I am!"
"I am expecting this film to be a hit, and once that happens, everybody who has done a special appearance or a full-fledged appearance, benefits. People also get recognition and love from the audience," the actor signed off.
The show that Sudhanshu Pandey features in, revolves around the character Anupamaa, who is a homemaker. The actor plays Anupamaa's husband Vanraj on the television show.
