The 69th Filmfare Awards will be held on January 28 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The Filmfare Awards 2024 will be celebrating the best of Hindi cinema that was released in 2024. The Filmfare team hosted a press conference on Monday evening to officially announce the nominations. Present at the conference were actors Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan along with director Karan Johar. 

Talking about the nominations, Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani took the lead with 18 nods. Shah Rukh Khan who had a blockbuster year at the box office has two nominations under the Best Actor category- one each for Pathaan and Dunki. He is in the company of actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sunny Deol and Vicky Kaushal. In the Best Actress category, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Rani Mukerji will be seen in competition.
