The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has lifted the ban on Gauahar Khan for flouting quarantine rules after contracting the virus. On March 16, the association had issued a non-cooperation directive against the actor and asked members to distance themselves from her for two months.

Khan, and the makers of the web series she was shooting for, requested the FWICE to reverse the decision due to the losses they were facing. The film body agreed and directed Khan to abide by the guidelines in the new normal.
