Bollywood actor Govinda has issued a video statement following his wife Sunita Ahuja`s comment on Pandit Mukesh Shukla. The senior actor tendered an apology to him and his family, who he claimed stood by him in tough times. He issued a public apology to them following his wife`s comment on them in an interview. 

Govinda issues apology 

On November 4, Govinda issued an apology through a video. He said that he has been consulting with Pandit Mukesh Shukla for years and considers him in high regard. In the video, he said in Hindi, "My wife made disparaging remarks against Pandit Mukesh Shukla on the podcast, and I condemn them. My deepest apologies".
