"I have prayed for Salman at Shirdi Sai Baba shrine. I cannot talk much at the moment but I have prayed for him," Govinda, who worked with Salman in "Partner", told reporters last night after paying obeisance at the famous shrine.
Salman was sentenced to five years imprisonment by a Mumbai sessions court in the 2002 hit-and-run case which was later suspended by the Bombay High Court.
Govinda also visited Salman at his Galaxy apartment residence in Mumbai's suburban Bandra after the verdict in the 13-year-old case was pronounced on Wednesday.
The former MP, who was last seen in "Happy Ending", said he has also prayed for his upcoming home production "Abhinay Chakra".&nbsp;Govinda's wife Sunita also accompanied him during the visit.
