Who’s the real Shakti?
Filmmaker Amar Kaushik has responded to speculation surrounding the casting of Maddock Films’ upcoming horror comedy Shakti Shalini. Reports had suggested that Kiara Advani was replaced by Saiyaara star Aneet Padda in the lead role. However, in an interview with Filmygyan, Amar clarified “Kiara was never officially part of the project. Nothing was confirmed, so I don’t know how it came out. I’ve always wanted to work with her.” Addressing the rumour further, he said, “Nobody was locked.
