The thief will be punished
While we are all eager to see Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, some people are a little too enthused about the movie, so much so that they’ve leaked clips of the film, which went viral on August 10. In response, SRK’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, has filed a case against the unidentified individual for leaking scenes without authorisation. Since the clips were shared on Twitter, the production house has also sent notices to five account holders for distributing the clips on their respective handles. The Atlee-directed film, also starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, is set to hit theatres on September 7.
Jaya in legal trouble
Jaya Prada has reportedly been imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 and sentenced to six months in jail by a Chennai court in connection with a fraud case. The veteran actor’s business partners, Ram Kumar and Raja Babu, are also said to have been found guilty in the case. Apparently, Jaya and her business partners owned a movie theatre in Chennai, which was shut down some years ago due to losses. However, the staff members filed a case against the actor for not repaying the ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) amount that was deducted from their salaries. Jaya reportedly admitted to the case, promised to clear all the dues, and requested that the court dismiss the case.
