As Bollywood celebrates Halloween today, Kajol dressed up as Disney character Cruella and embraced her wicked and revengeful side at an event in Dubai. Sharing a photo on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Happy Halloween, witches... we are so cool.” Now if only Kads had added Cruella’s trademark white and black hair look, black-winged eyeliner and dark red lips to complete the makeover.

Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan have been friends for over 30 years. They first acted together in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992). Anusha Dandekar shared a cryptic post after ex-flame Karan Kundrra talked about their break up in Bigg Boss 15 with housemate Shamita Shetty. Kundra stated that he had been “self-centred in the relationship, and if they sat and fought, things would have been different”. He was keen that Dandekar hear what he had said. The VJ-singer’s post read, “He doesn’t lie to you because the truth will hurt your feelings. He lies to you because the truth might provoke you to make choices that will not serve his interests.” The two, who were together for almost six years, went their separate ways in 2020. 

Farewell, Yusuf Hussain

On Saturday, veteran actor Yusuf Hussain, known for his roles in several films including Vivah (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006) and Dil Chahta Hai (2001), passed away due to COVID-19 complications. He was 73. His daughter Safeena is filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s wife. He posted, “Not my father-in-law but a father.” He reminisced how he helped him in the making of Shahid (2013) to give him a new lease of life as a filmmaker. “Life will never be the same. I will miss you terribly. My Urdu will remain broken,” Mehta added.

To mark ladylove Kriti Kharbanda’s 31st birthday on Friday, beau Pulkit Samrat shared an endearing picture with her and penned a heartwarming note, which read, “Happy birthday, my love. Here’s to many more.” Their romance bloomed on the set of Pagalpanti (2019) when they were shooting in London.

On Saturday, Ananya Panday turned 23. Rumoured beau Ishaan Khatter wished Annie Panini (that’s what he calls her), “Happy cake day. May the truth, strength and love always be with you.” The message was laced with heart and unicorn emojis. The two have been close ever since they teamed up for Khaali Peeli (2020).
